Classic Roast Pork Belly
This Roast pork belly dish goes down well with everybody - it's difficult to fault the combination of juicy pork with luscious fat and salty, crunchy crackling.

- Score pork belly skin
- Sprinkle some salt over crushed garlic into paste.
- Combine garlic paste with oil and five spice and rub all over pork
- Leave uncovered overnight (min 2hrs)
Day 2 (min 3:30hrs prep)
Instructions
- Sprinkle more salt over skin of pork and leave until room temperature
- Preheat oven to 200°C and roast for 30min
- Reduce heat to 160°C and roast for 2:30hrs
- Grill at 220°C for 5-10min to get crackling skin
- Remove and rest meat for 20min before cutting
